We camped at Hotel Lake campground for a few days last week. Linda and Peter are terrific hosts, very helpful and friendly. The lake is beautiful, campsite very clean and well looked after. We plan on staying again in the near future.

I used to camp here when I was a kid, when the owners (might have changed) had older teenagers of their own...Russell and David. (?) I was at the campground for a few years until I turned 12/13 and we started traveling around Vancouver Island. I will always remember this campground because I had my first crush!
Beautiful lake but a typical private campground... Stacked in as tight as possible with your neighbors only a couple of feet away from you. No privacy at all, suspect washrooms. Staff are friendly
I didn't stay at the campground but did have a memorable swim off a tiny dock - one of a few dotted along side the roadway. The water was just cool enough, and crystal clear. A sublime experience.
