This place is great. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. Lots of Chinese students come for authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Ma Po Tofu, white steamed rice, and some fried dumplings through Skip the Dishes. The Ma Po Tofu was the best I've had anywhere, I could tell they were using proper Sichuan peppercorns. My mouth and lips were tingling, but it wasn't a burning spice. The flavor was excellent. The rice was cooked well. The dumplings seemed homemade, you could taste the fresh chives, and were still crispy after delivery. Very excited to try some of their other items!

I ordered the deep fried tofu with pepper and omg it was the most disgusting thing I have ever ordered in my entire life. I frequently order this same dish from other Chinese restaurants and I have NEVER seen anything like this before. It was in some weird batter and had disgusting spices. We had to throw out 2 orders because there was no way I was eating that disgusting mess. I will never order from this place again and frankly feel ripped off! The picture does not do it justice as to how gross this was.
Ordered take out through Skip the Dishes - salt and pepper prawns were battered deep fried prawns tossed with burnt seasoning and were a soggy mess. Ma Pao Tofu (usually one of my favourite Chinese dishes) contained very little meat and was practically inedible. The portion sizes you got for the amount that I paid was disappointing as well. I will not be ordering from here again.
