Dr Bawa is the best! He is VERY knowledgeable with addiction and he is so down to earth and makes you feel like he sincerely cares about you. I cannot say enough good things about him or Horizon. He has excellent bed side manner which I find way too many Drs in any section of medicine dont have. Dr Bawa has been such an amazing support to have.

I've been to a number of clinics & recently switched from my last one after being treated extremely poorly by the reception, I chose Horizons because of the reviews & I'm so glad that I did. I wish I knew about this place sooner, the staff is so kind & everyone is treated with respect, the atmosphere is different than any clinic I've been to, it's very uplifting & comfortable. They have a great playlist going in the waiting room which makes waiting feel less tedious, plus they work very quickly (but efficiently.) Dr. Bawa is amazing, his attitude & energy immediately put a smile on my face & left me walking out in a much better mood than I came in with, I know I'm in good hands. I reccomend this clinic to anyone and everyone who's struggling with addiction, these people can & want to help, and travelling from outside of brampton to go here is absolutely worth it. Very grateful to have found this place & if I could give it 10/5 stars I would, lol :) I feel much more confident in my recovery with Dr. Bawa taking over treatment & visiting a clinic that improves my mindset, rather than the ones I've been to that are full of triggers, for lack of a better word. This place is what every addiction clinic should be, this place is doing it right.
This place saved both mine and my wife's life. In 1996 I was severely wounded while serving in Bosnia almost loosing both legs to artillery fire. This placed me on Morphine and every other opiate I could get my hands on. Leading to a 25 year opiate dependence also resulting in my wife becoming an addict due to stress. I was months away from loosing my legs from IV injection and my wife was close to overdosing. NO ONE CARED!. Then we came to this clinic and for the first time in over 20 years were treated with respect and given hope. Now we are both in treatment and we haven't used morphine in 7 months and my legs are finally healing. Dr. Bawa is the most kindest, understanding, and compassionate man I have ever met, and the clinic staff are the best. THANK YOU HORIZONS FOR SAVING OUR LIVES!.
Dr. Bawa is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. I have been an addict for over 25 years and there is no belittling at this clinic. The staff is so caring and Dr. Bawa is a saint. Anyone who has a problem with opiate addiction/abuse should definitely come here.
Dr . Bawa is an excellent physician! Impressive bedside manner. The only issue I personally have is with the way the clinic is run. There doesn't seem to be any point in having an appointment; even if you have one, it seems as though you are served on a \first come-first serve\ basis. I find that to be unfair and extremely frustrating. The one saving grace to that is, thankfully, you rarely have long to wait.
