Ordering from Hops Collective was incredibly easy and the shipping was beyond all of my expectations! The items in my custom beer basket not only came in a neutral, reusable basket, but the whole thing was shipped in an absolutely beautiful wooden crate. I was not expecting the crate to be such a gorgeous piece on its own! The beer selection was great and the variety of snacks was also impressive. I would recommend Hops Collective for anyone seeking a thoughtful beer oriented gift, and suggest you don’t skimp on your selections. I ordered a selection of 20 beers and snacks and it was a much loved gift!

Packaged beautifully from an aesthetics standpoint however all the beer was frozen on arrival. One of the Mill Street bottles shattered, two others had leaked through the bottle top. Two of the 473ml cans were damaged in shipping and one was punctured and had leaked everywhere. The package was a total mess. After it was all cleaned up the remaining beer was tasty and so were the chips. Called to let them know about the shipping issue and got an automated voice mail message to leave my information, which I did. No call back. Their idea is good but there operation is not great. Recommend supporting one of your local craft brewers and having them put a package together. Cheaper and better recourse if something goes wrong.
This company is a scam. I got a 3 month subscription for the “crate of mystery” as a gift for my sister in law. Unfortunately, the product that she received was not as advertised. All 3 times, she received beers from Ontario that we could buy at any BC liquor stores. This is what they advertised from their website: “Our Crate of Mystery Craft Beer Club Subscription is the perfect way to discover new Craft Beer from around Canada. We offer a variety of options when it comes to choosing your subscription, you are guaranteed to get a variety of different beers with each shipment!” Clearly this is false advertisement and on top of that, they were late on the delivery every time. My advice is save your money and go elsewhere. I could have done a better job myself for much cheaper.
