Had a service call, would not recommend. *EDIT - in response* I was told on the initial call, and by the service tech that diagnostic fees would be credited to the repair. I originally stated that I WOULD go ahead with the repair, however I was then told the service fee would not be applied to the repair, and that they would require a 500 deposit with no ETA on parts or servicing. I opted to NOT go with the repair due to the misleading diagnostic fee and the upfront charge with no ETA on repair or parts.

We’ve been using Hoppe’s services for 3 years in pool opening, closing, pump repairs, hot tub care, etc. Very happy with their expertise, professionalism and responsiveness. They gave us many useful advice over the phone and in person. Highly recommend especially to first time pool owners like us.
Like Rita, above , waited for weeks for response from Hoppe's with the same excuse. Seems their phones don't work during pandemic. Unlike Rita we, unwisely waited it out only to have repeated misdiagnosis . After four months we finally called in another service who were able to arrive four days after our call to them. They had the spa running like new in forty minutes. No Hoppe's it WAS NOT a bad spa pack.
I called the end of April to have my hot tub looked at and was told it would be a week or so. Called again 2 weeks later was told it would be within the week. A month later haven't even had as much as a phone call to book an appointment or even an explanation. Needless to say we just bought the part and had the company talk us through it. I understand that times are different but what happened to customer service. Would not call again. To this day in August,no one has called.
Jeff is always great to deal with and will take the time to offer a solution even if it doesn't result in a sale for him
