I have worked for two Home Instead companies. I first worked with them when I lived in Ontario and rejoined with the company over 2 years ago in the Surrey office. I enjoy working for the company so that more seniors can remain in their homes where they feel most comfortable. The company is very accommodating to their employees and they understand that family matters. They have excellent knowledge on how to place a caregiver with the clients needs. I highly recommend Home Instead.

We have used your services for overnight care in the spring, and now ongoing care in mornings and evenings. In both cases, the caregivers surpassed any expectations we could have had. We contacted HomeInstead (HI) as my ailing Father (96) was going deaf but still wanted to live in dependently and needed round the clock in home monitoring. HI was very courteous and professional with all their follow up communications. Our initial instructions including onsite consultation and set ups with each care companions, was carried out by the territory owner himself, attending to ensure seamless communications to and fr their services. He checked the accommodations and pointed out things to have ready in place for the service requested. HI provided 4 different shift companions to cover the longer night shift monitoring my Father required. I have nothing but good things to say about the care companions who came regularity. They were always on time, polite, courteous and left detailed notes per each shift covering: my fathers food intake, wake and bathroom times and anything unusual requiring follow up. My father quickly adjusted to this level of monitoring and continued living his life without frustration or worry knowing someone was around when needed assist him w anything he required. This gave my father & us great peace of mind and I would no have hesitation in recommending Jeremiah and his dedicated team at HomeInstead. They delivered and provided the quality level of care my father was needing and they were always great to deal with including all the caring staff who attended to my father.
About 2 years ago, our family were looking for home support for our mom. My dad had passed away and she was lonely. Home Instead contacted us right away providing us with information about their services over the phone. A year later, we started the minimum support of 6 hours, two days a week. It was great to know our mom had company, someone to shop for her if she needed groceries , and prep meals. We noticed a huge difference in our mom’s attitude on the days they were there. Since January, we have support every day. Each of the 3 support workers help her by cleaning, cooking, shopping, driving her to appointments, and most importantly giving her company and sincerely caring for her. Our whole family is so grateful as my mom is happy, eating well and really looked after. There isn’t a price that can be put on this kind of service. The Tejani Family
