COVID 19, has made it difficult for everyone, retailers and customers, to find materials and/or supplies to complete jobs either at home or for businesses. When searching for materials and supplies, whether that be over the phone or ON-LINE, stock or no stock, making a necessary call to a retailer, it always depends who you get on the other end, IF you get someone who wants to help you, who has a patient customer service demeanor, or NOT. I think everyone can relate to this and if you have had to make and experience the "phone call" to the BIG DEPOT, you know what I mean. No comparison, the staff at this store are far and few between with experience, customer service and positive attitude, Hodgkinson (Home) Hardware have a fantastic staff! If they don't have it, they will order it in for you and do that with a pleasure dealing with you. Hands down, the Hardware store with 50,000 less SQ F offer a much better customer service experience. The best part is, they can get nearly EVERYTHING the BIG DEPOT has. I took the time to write this, where is deserved (I would rather write a positive review where it is deserved, than a foul negative one where also, it was earned but this is better) Brian, at this location was my positive outcome, ordering what I need. He went out of his way, searched warehouses for my materials, found them and ordered! He made it easy, thanks Brian! This example is my most recent experience at this store, but is among every positive purchase I have made here over the years, it is time I wrote a review especially how they have maintained the same, if not better customer service during COVID 19 restrictions, lock-down curb-side service.
