Steve is a class individual who genuinely cares about giving kids self confidence and self discipline. I've had both my kids in his classes and highly recommend Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu. At the very least, it's a great way to get the kids some exercise and teach them how to defend themselves. But it could also be a life long discipline. 5 stars!

Steve Hiscoe has 40 years of experience in Jiu Jitsu. His vast knowledge, professional attitude and focus on self defense is one of the best in Western Canada. The children's programs he runs at his school is one of the best designed and successful one's I've ever seen. His adult programs are practical and well respected. IF you are in the Chilliwack area, this is the place to check out...hands down.

Absolute best training in the Fraser Valley and beyond. The children in particular , become noticeably confident, strong, physically and mentally in a very short period. Any parent looking for the best ,should drop by during a training session.

Hiscoe Jiu Jitsu is an awesome place to to learn and train traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu (Can-Ryu). I have been a member of the dojo family for a little over 2 years and highly recommend this dojo. I initially started with the low impact classes (Monday Night Ninjas as we call them) and then moved over to the regular adult classes. Kyoshi Steven Hiscoe has over 40 years of martial arts training and is an exceptional teacher. The dojo's focus is on self-defense but we also have a great time sparring and have various jiu jitsu training camps usually twice a year. So if your looking for a good workout twice a week that will also teach you some excellent life skills (self-defense) why not come down to the dojo and say hello and look around.... Cheers!
