If you would like to try local food in Calgary, try this local business ; Hint of Mint. Rayya, the owner of Hint of mint brings recipes & flavors of Syria in Calgary. I recommend to try Muhammara and Mutabbal Shawandar [ beets dip] with home made Pitas. Every bite brings you closer to Syria. I also encourage to try the hummus, just so that you can say you have tried Lebanese Hummus Vs Syrian Hummus and which one is better :P. . I finished the mint hummus in two sittings, it was so good. Also a fan of the red pepper spread. Both are perfect with veggies or crackers.

My friends and I enjoyed the olive tapenade, the muhammara and the hummus. They're so easy to use as a sandwich or wrap spread, and are addictingly delicious. Highly recommend! Love the fresh flavors.
