We purchased a vehicle from Hickman Nissan Gander 3 years ago. We had an excellent buying experience and all previous services have also been excellent. We recently received a safety recall letter in the mail from Nissan. We called and scheduled an appointment to get this "safety" issue taken care of immediately. We drove 2.5 hours for the appointment to be told that it wasn't necessary. We explained that we had driven quite a distance for nothing. The lady at the service desk was extremely professional and tried her very best to compensate us for the inconvenience. She asked the manager to provide us with a free oil change. He refused. We feel that this is very poor customer relations and if they truly valued their customers, some form of compensation would have been provided for an unnecessary 5 hour drive.

Ottawa, Waterloo, Bellville, Hickman Nissan is my favourite. I ve had issues at the other locations but so far Hickman has been open and honest with me. The cookies in the waiting room are a bonus.
