I must have driven by this little town over 100 times in my life and didn't stop. Hedley is an old mining town and the museum holds some great artifacts from this time. The staff is very courteous and friendly and put in a bit of overtime the other day to show us around. On the porch is a spotting scope aimed at the top of a nearby mountain.. an old mine last used in 1949.. Where the ore was transported by cable car up and down the mountain.

Very friendly staff, I loved the tea talk about the old times and the mine history
So much information and history. It is a fantastic stop and well worth your time. There is also a tea room that serves coffee, tea and hot chocolate, pop but also floats! They also have some wonderful lemon meringue pie, that is baked by a local lady, that is absolutely delicious!
An interesting town. The museum staff was kind and informative.
Neat little museum. Interesting gift shop/tea room. Yummy lemon meringue pie, among other things.
