I was nervous after reading these poor reviews of Brandon online but he just completed the floor at my studio and my experience with him was very positive. He showed up on the day he said he would on time and worked long hard hours for a week straight. My floors were covered in glue since there used to be tiles on the hardwood and two other people I brought in for quotes straight up told me they would not do the job because of the glue. Brandon took the job and did absolutely amazing work. I am thankful he was recommended to me and I went with him.

Previous review was very forgiving in my opinion. This guy has an unprofessionalism to new heights. Brandon came in high on drugs few times. Brought in beer one night and started drinking on the sanded floor. Initially he came and gave a quote that was exactly half of what his father (Ebony Sanders) came and gave. Obviously these guys are going around and hustling and stealing money from people. We gave him a deposit and literally the next day he wouldnt pick up our calls and started making excuses about not coming or that he will come in the evening and I am talking about after 9 pm. It was kind of mind boggling. He never even came close to completing the work even after more than 2 weeks. Continuous excuses and lying. I have just never seen trades of this kind. I moved here from Alberta and have never had this high level of issues of consumers getting ripped off. We went to cops too, and knew very well they would not do anything anyways. We will be taking him to court. Hire Hurst Sanders or Ebony Sanders at your own risk. Infact, I will go as far as saying dont even bother getting the floors sanding/refinishing and it would be much less headache replacing the entire floor.
We scheduled a vacation around vacating our home on the schedule of Brandon's Hurst. Day 2 we are well on the road to Nova Scotia. Brandon calls, won't make it out today as he ate bad crab.... ok, benefit of the doubt. People get ill. Asked \will the job be done on time\ so we can change plans if not and drive home later. He assures yes. Then we are calling him multiple times on Tuesday, waking him up. He indicates all is well. Come Friday night, low and behold the call comes. Floors aren't drying doesn't know why, cannot assure it will get done as it is taking 26 hours for a 4 hour coat to dry. I tell him we are now hours from home and need a place to go. We are booking a room at his cost. I book a room 1 mile from our home. I come and check, he isn't here and the coat on the floor is dry as a bone. Amazing eh! He then saunters out at 11 the next day to put down another one. Again I remind him I am staying in a hotel again, at his cost. Then all of a sudden he is optimistic he will get the \final\ coat down and dry by today. When I wasn't in town it was taking 26 hours to dry. Now that I am here, 4 hours. Bottom line, kicked him out Sunday night, 2.5 days late. Only to discover he has done 2 coats, was paid to do 4. He hadn't finished the trims that he said he would, he didn't cover a single vent, sanding basics 1-0-1. And now, 3 months later, the fillers he put down are coming up. What a total mess. He basically overbooked and really didn't give he a crap about the lives he was pushing around while he's out working other jobs and eating bad crab. His dads reputation got him the job, his poor work ethic and workmanship assure he will never get another one from me or anyone I know. Including several real estate agents. Enjoy your seafood Brandon. What a shame.
