Stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it! Beautiful view! Campsite is by the water. If you like kayaking or you just want to chill and do some stargazing at night, this place is for you. I went solo and I felt safe. The attendant is very nice. Washroom is clean, no showers though or it would be perfect! Either way, I enjoyed my stay. :)

We park one car at Kilby park, drove to Harrison Lake and came down the river in our Kayak. Amazing expedition, it takes about 3-4 hours depending if you are stopping along the way. Beautiful scenery, tons of salmon jumping all around as well as eagles feeding on the shore. It was like doing a mini-safari. A must if you are in the area.

We knew prior to going to Kilby campground they were very strict about their rules. Camping here isn't like camping in forestry or recreation sites, the sites are small and close together, BUT that being said the beach is to die for. We booked this specifically for the kids to have a weekend in the sand and water. Camp hosts run a tight ship but they are very pleasant and friendly. They have wash stations out front of outhouses with nice soap too should you be like me and not be self contained. Will definitely be back again.

I love the Harrison River, it's great that we still have access to these beautiful places to camp and launch our boats. Right beside it is also an amazing company, Kilby Lodge Sturgeon Adventures, they have lodging and guided fishing tours! He is money well spent and launches from this very park. Men don't need to leave the wife and kids at home, they go to the beach and he goes fishing! The beach is gorgeous and the fishing affordable!! Parking lot is way too small for busy times though so definitely carpool to that lot of you are day use at the park.
