As with several other people, I purchased Black Loam for my garden. What I ended up getting is definitely not what I purchased. The product I received is very dense and muddy that has no drainage. I've been able to use the soil for an herb garden but other than that it's been terrible. If you are looking for a quality black loam, go with Big Yellow Bag.

Ordered to sacs of Enriched Garden Soil online. Received a phone call to confirm the order, estimated delivery date range and where I would like them placed. Received another phone call the day before delivery to confirm. Easy to drop off the bags and get the bag deposit refund. Great soil and excellent customer service!
awesome place!!! i own my own landscape construction company and I use them all the time. friendly staff, lots of options and services to choose from with great prices!!!
Fast delivery. Poor dirt quality. We ordered the 'Enriched mix' for our veggie box. It had a heavy clay content with lots plastic and metal debris. If you're looking for some enriched soil for your garden you may want to look elsewhere.
On August 20, 2020 I ordered a sac of Enriched Garden Mix from supersac.ca say that is supposed to consist of 55% Pure Black Loam, 30% Composted Manure and 15% Peat Moss! It is described as “Very dark in colour, medium in weight and loose in texture”. Sounds Great doesn't it? Read on... I don’t know what is in my super-sac but I can tell you it is not anything good. It is not at all the product they describe or the product I wanted to use to create my new perennial garden. I wish I had opened the super-sac as soon as they dropped it but I still had a lot of prep work to do before planting. Not so funny is the soil I took out was better than the soil now going in. So many times I dropped a shovel load and then bent down to throw out chunks of clay. It really is the worst stuff I have ever seen come out of any bag, ever!!! I should add that I did purchase a super-sac two years ago that I was happy with and the reason I came back this fall. The other sac I purchased in the spring time. Does the quality of their soil change by season? Are they running out in the fall and instead of enriched quality soil putting anything in to fill up the sac? Did they drop the wrong sac? I’m going to contact the company tomorrow and see what they say. Not much can be done now but I regret using any of it and not giving my perennial garden the best start possible. I wish I could include a picture for you all to see. I will be sure to share the picture with the company and have no problem if they come and get this very sad sac. I wonder if the owner knows the quality of the stuff that is going out? Regards, Lin
