No need to stress yourself out driving to a Cottage 3 hour away with tons of Traffic there and back. Hanlan Boat Club location, staff and the idea of being in \your cities backyard\ is ready and ideal to make your staycation / vacation, most rewarding.
This entire complex of boat clubs along Regatta Rd. gives me weird, creepy vibes. Never seems to be any serious recreational activity going on and the individuals behind the barbed wire fence look half conscious most of the time. Strange place indeed.
Sort of located in a shady place. I remember cold mornings here. There's good school spirit here that hosts UCC and Havergal rowing teams.
