Purchased laundry set from Handy a few months ago. Recently the dryer “seemed” to make loud noises when operating, resulting in neighbours complaints. Handy technician came and found it’s the booster fan up in the ceiling that’s faulty and generating noise. Didn’t charge us for the service call. I have bought from Handy for many years, and will continue to do so. Great service to customers by Deep the salesperson as well as Sim the technician. Update: Got Handy’s technician Alex to repair another washer at a different location. He was very knowledgeable and efficiency which I’d like to commend. What I want to also share is that the diagnostic charge was 129 and the hourly rate was 157. These rates are posted upfront on their web site which is fully okay. However, the diagnostic only took 10 mins and the whole service completed in 1 hour. My comment: This rate structure, although very transparent and I was charged accordingly, may need to be reviewed. In the future, I’d probably use my other repair tech who charges 130 per hour flat rate, with 15 min increments. This time I used Handy Appl to evaluate their performance and how they charge.

Second time I have used Handy Appliances. First time was great. Second time was not. My ordered appliances arrived 3 weeks late despite prepayment. The new fridge door had dents and scratches on it. The delivery crew pointed this out to me after my old fridge was on their truck already. The dishwasher was not installed with the outer toe panel. I called but could not get the salesman or manager on the phone. I had to drive back to Handy Appliances to get these deficiencies looked into. I do not feel this is a satisfactory performance for an appliance business.

Was calling around to find a part for my Whirlpool Range, two other parts places said minimum 2 week wait and 125.00, I spoke with the parts guy at Handy Appliances and the part was in stock at half the price. It pays to shop around and I will make sure to recommend buying parts here!

In the midst of the Covid-19 quarantines, my parents' refrigerator started to have problems. It was 40 years old anyways so time for a new one. We got in touch with Tina at Handy Appliances and she found us a refrigerator within my dad's budget and arranged to have it delivered and installed and the old one taken away. It was all quite seamless and easy shopping experience. My parents can't be more happy with it. Thank-you, Handy Appliances.
