I have brought a half-dozen projects to Variotus over the past few years and I'm happy to recommend Doug and his team. Variotus designed and built several specialized hardware components, PCBs, complex circuits and firmware for real-time processing for IoT projects for my company. Doug has a unique understanding to be able to translate real-world needs into hardware engineering. From initial prototyping through to the final production products, Doug provides good project management and is communicative throughout. I'm extremely happy with Variotus and will continue to work with them in the future.

We have been working with Doug at Variotus for over 2 years on a custom control solution for our product. Once we described our needs and vision for the controls, Doug was able to provide a plan to get us started with prototype boards and all the way through pcb design and manufacture. Doug was open and honest in the process and was sensitive to our timeline and budget, letting us know immediately whenever roadblocks came up which gave us the ability to pivot rather than simply delay. Additionally, I was pleased to find that Doug is able to identify what tasks he is not efficient at and to bring in other talent for those tasks. This may seem like a small point or to some even a negative but in my experience it is critical to achieving a successful project. We continue to work with Doug on newly developed products as well as refining this original product I have described. Highly recommended.
