I had the opportunity to try a cake of hers at a family's birthday party & I knew when my son turned 16, I wanted Kristy to make his cake. She was prompt on answering my email & taking my order. There were a few things that I wanted that would've increased the cost of the cake & Kristy offered some suggestions, that not only kept the cost at a reasonable price but inhanced the look of it! I loved that she communicated with me before making a decision & made sure the cake was exactly how I in visioned it. Payment options were quick & easy also. On delivery day I was so excited to see the cake! And did she every come through! The cake was put together EXACTLY how I wanted it! It was a HUGE HIT at our get together, getting so many compliments & it tasted as good as it looked!! My youngest will be 13 this year & I know where I'll be getting his cake from!!!!

I will start out by saying I am not a dessert person. I rarely eat cake and if I do, I don't really enjoy it much. That being said for my wedding, my husband took the lead on the cake. After reading reviews we contacted This Chick Makes Cake and Kristy offered to make some samples for us to take home. There were about 4-5 cake options and then 4-5 icing options as well.... We went with cookies and cream flavored cake with vanilla icing and all I gotta say is... Wow. This is by far the best cake I have ever had and would recommend it to everyone. As a person who usually skips dessert I can honestly say that if I could have this cake for dessert every day, I would! We sent her a design that we wanted for the cake and she nailed it! The whole process of having it made and delivered for the wedding was smooth, and it was very affordable as well! I will most definitely be contacting them for any cakes I need for big events in the future! It's been almost a year since our wedding and my husband still talks about that cake! We still get compliments on how cool it looked too :)

I got a tasting box and didn’t end up going with Kristy. What a mistake! Her cake was fabulous and so much better than the “recommended vendor” we went with. Wedding cake doesn’t get much better than this!
Wonderful baker, Kristy made our wedding cake and we couldn't be happier with it. Sadly I wasn't able to make the tasting but she dropped off different cupcakes for my parents to try to see what they liked. We ended up going with cookies & cream/Lemon raspberry ripple. It tastes SOOO good and it looked amazing when we cut it. She did the cake exactly as asked, thank you kristy! Amazing service and customer service :)
