I highly recommend the services of the Hamilton Midwives for your midwifery care. I felt I was given so much attention and was being properly cared for. I was pregnant with my first child at the beginning of the pandemic and was quite nervous. I really didn't know what to expect in terms of the pregnancy or midwifery care and I was overly happy with the care and attention I recieved. My main midwife, Sofia, and my backup, Susan, were both extremely educated and patient with me. Sofia was available to answer (and encouraged me to ask) any questions that came to me and was very helpful throughout my pregnancy. They also have very kind and professional office staff. But what stood out the most from my experience with the Hamilton Midwives team was how they dealt with my delivery. I pushed for 2 hours once dilated and had a very hard time of it. I ended up needing an emergency c-section. The entire situation could have been very scary but Sofia was able to keep me very calm. She has such a soothing voice, and in a time of high stress and anxiety like the one I experienced, she was able to keep me calm and focused. I really can't say enough about how important a trait like that is, for a midwife. So thank you to Sofia, Susan, and the entire Hamilton Midwives team. I recommend you to everyone, Carly Donn

I have had 2 babies at Hamilton Midwives and have been very happy with the experiences. I highly recommend Susie Martin to be your midwife. She is beyond excellent and you can tell that she loves what she does, she is very knowledgable, cares about baby and mother, and is so passionate about midwifery. I knew we were in good hands but with Susie it was so much more, she was someone you felt you could trust. The midwives at this location are all incredible.
I worked with the Hamilton Midwives through two pregnancies - in 2017/2018, and in 2019/2020 (through the COVID-19 pandemic). I had exceptional care in both pregnancies. I felt so supported, and like my midwives were family. I worked with Masoudeh in both pregnancies, and Kim as secondary in my second pregnancy. I found both were very different backgrounds and opinions in guidance, which I appreciated. One having a very medical approach and the other a different more alternative approach. Having different opinions was very important to me, and hearing the science and information behind different options in choosing. I was transferred to OB care and induced at St Joes in both pregnancies, however, my pregnancy and post partum care was provided by the midwives and was amazing. With my first child we overcame some scary feeding and weight gain issues - the midwives visited nearly daily to assist. It was disappointing that COVID-19 restricted visits in my second post partum care, however, the midwives were still calling to check in, and on call at all times. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately I would not recommend the Hamilton Midwives. My prenatal care throughout my pregnancy was great and they were always very thorough. However, I was very disappointed with my postpartum care during the first week of adjusting to being a first time mother and did not feel supported at all. This was highly disappointing to my husband and I, as one of the major reasons we decided on going with a midwife was for the postpartum care that we were supposed to receive.
Horrible service ,lack of professionalism, lack of communication from front staff and midwive student instructed to provide service and no follow ups from assigned stuff. Absolutely dissatisfied ,waste of my time. Find different practice.i would not recommend!
