The Donut Stop is nice little shop with a retro look from the golden era of the sixties. The donuts early in the morning are fresh and they always seem to have a fresh pot of coffee brewing. Fresh sandwiches lines the showcase with cold beverages readily available.
One of the best coffee and donut shops I've ever been to. And their sandwiches are awesome great. All at a pretty good value - bonus is the history of the place too.
Donuts here are great here. Nice variety. They sell donuts here like they use to in the good old days. Baked fresh and not your standard ones that you find at the big chain donut stores. Give them a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
If you are looking for a classic coffee and donuts shop, this is it to a tee. Baskets upon baskets of your favourite classic flavours like Boston cream and the powdered donuts. Red vinyl lining each and every chair. An open ended bar with little chrome stools. This diner makes me feel like I'm back in the 80s in the most charming, nostalgic way. The donuts are fluffy and filled to the brim. The jelly is exploding out of the fills. The glazes are delicious as well. There is nothing this coffee and donuts shop could do better as far as decor and execution. If there was one critique, I would comment on its cleanliness. But to be fair, it's quite a busy local spot. In the 20 minutes I've been here, over 10 people have walked in and out and it's 10 am on a weekday. Suffice it to say, this place is a local favourite and for good reason.
