Great food and the portions are always great! It just is a bit more expensive than most places in the westdale area. However it is a perfect restaurants to go with friends, family and even on a date! I've always had great service there and seating is good, except for the high top metal chairs, those can be awkward if you are on the shorter

Ordered through skip the dishes. No fault of there’s but the driver was late to pick up my food and they called and let me know they remade my sandwich so it would still be warm. Food quality was great, sandwich was delicious, Caesar salad was really good too.
I just had the Salmon dinner with vegetables, rice and pesto. Absolutely amazing. Best Salmon dinner ever! Thank you Bean Bar!
The Bean Bar is a great place to meet friends for a quick bite, some beers, and especially a slice of cake! Love the atmosphere both inside and out. Always been happy with the food and the service. Definitely recommend if you're in westdale for a meal!
Would have given it another star because I found the quality of the burger patty itself on the sirloin burger to be nice and homemade. In terms of toppings, they were fresh and ripe, the pickles weren’t cheap sour dills, my only complaint is the toppings were on the skimpy side. All of the dishes my family ordered were portioned pretty small. The house salad was topped with celery? That was a bit odd for my likings, there wasn’t anything special about it either. The dressing was simple which would have been nice if the salad was either a bit more adventurous or more balanced in taste (dang celery.) It also would have been nice if it didn’t have the viscosity and taste purely of vinegar and no oil (or very little?) For the fancier kind of place it appears to want to be, I’d rather get a burrito at Burrito Bandidos. Also the pricing and menu online gives you a different impression, one more casual than the real life menu depicts. Just make up your mind, be a little more generous, tweak the house salad recipe and I’d have given a 5 star rating. Service wasn’t anything to write home about either. The people are socially starved this year, ya shouldn’t leave them hanging for 30 minutes without checking on them, or leave them waiting for a bill. Okay, okay! Add that to the list then this self appointed restaurant critic will grace ye with the big high 5 ️
Excellent service that was auite conscious of our safety and followed all public health protocols. I had the Cobb Salad, which was amazing: high quality, fresh ingredients and the cooked items were not day old and rubbery. It was quite good. And the price was exceedingly fair, especially given the limited customers they can now serve. Support them if you can.
Love that location, the food is great and the staff is really nice. Had the sirloin burger, delicious! Felt very safe and well cared for. A lot of kindness and warmth from our waiter.
Their cake is AMAZING, a little too expensive though :( I love their nachos! Most times they come out hot and fresh. They are the only restaurant that I’ve been to that sells cherry cola I also love their sweet potato quesadillas and the apple grilled cheese!! The bean bar salad is SO GOOD TOO! Overall I love bean bar and I’ve never been disappointed :) the staff is also so nice and friendly too. Great atmosphere!!
