My son and I took a trip to the campus to pick up his books for this messed up term. After a bit of a debate we decided to go to the Phoenix and I was completely happy with our choice. Having spent many years in the food industry I understand how difficult it is to serve a decent meal when you're not busy... Our server was great although I wish I remembered his name the give him props We sat outside as is I guess the norm for Ontario right now the patio could use a little tidying that's the only reason they didn't get 5 stars I had a club which was excellent made with real turkey breast And my son had a cheeseburger with fries Both were excellent and superisingly fresh Great job by ALL I'm sure once my son arrives on campus he will return often and a lot of my money we'll go to the Phoenix

Today I ordered a bufallo chicken wrap and it was very bad. It was just full of oil that I could not even eat a bite. Really disappointed.
This spot is worth visiting. They have large portions for fair rates. Constantly well kept and with good atmosphere. Will come visit again.
The side of vegetables was fresh and enormous! The pretzel bun on my fried chicken sandwich was soft and delicious. The server was friendly and very helpful. My lunchmate found her wrap superb, and the fries were crispy. Sometimes I go just to sit on their amazing patio or stare at the fantastic wood beam ceiling. The pub food menu is fine.
Gone from Mac as of this year, but the Phoenix was always so hit and miss. Sometimes you get an excellent server but underwhelming food, decent food but a server that’s nowhere to be seen, and sometimes you wait 20 minutes to give your order after being sat lol. I’d say go almost anywhere else on campus for food when given the opportunity as you’re paying similarly but the experience is almost always better elsewhere.
It's open,following all safety protocols and has excellent service and food.
Decent food and staff. Bar/comfort food with a good vibe. Servers are average. Coconut curry is not a coconut curry, do not recommend.
