Being the sister store of Architect Hair Design you know you're going to get 5 star service. The staff is super friendly and attentive to what you want to do with your hair and the option to have a pint before or after is pretty awesome. The store follows all covid-19 protocols and the cleanliness of the place is top notch.

I can't thank Gage enough for the work he did on my absolute disaster of a mop. I went from over a year and a bit without any cut (almost 2.5 years growing it out) to 'back to normal'. I had a lot of anxiety for some weird reason with getting a haircut, I never quite knew what style would suit my hair-type and felt almost silly for growing it as long as I did - the staff at Hendry's, and especially Gage, made me feel welcome and embraced the challenge without a second thought. Gage provided me with a consultation, looked at a few photos that I wanted my hair to look like and immediately assured me the cut was possible and provided clear instructions on how my hair type would fit the style I was after. Big big shoutout to Gage and the entire Hendry's crew - don't even hesitate in booking a session at this barbershop, absolute top-notch customer care. Oh and did I mention they sell beer? Hell yeah!

Never feel rushed for a haircut, they take their time. to cut your hair. I’ve gotten my hair cut by a few barbers here and they are all consistent. Not one haircut has been bad. I’ve always had a great haircut from the shop. Prices are a bit on the more expensive side, but you get excellent service in return! This place strives on providing an excellent customer experience! I never feel out of place coming to Hendry’s or Architect. I’ve been to some barbershops in Hamilton area where they don’t take the time to get to know their customers. This isn’t one of them! Each barber takes the time to get to know you. Keep up the consistency and excellent work!

Clean, great atmosphere, and the barbers all staff is super friendly. My haircuts (Kyle) are always on point and layed back - never rushed. Prices are fair. And for those who don't know, Hendry's Barbershop (and their other location: Architect Hair Design) has won the readers choice awards year after year. Check them out. You will not be disappoint.

Just like architect on James, this place is amazing. Phenomenal staff and service, and a great haircut (and beer!) Every time. The inside is just gorgeous.

Got an awesome cut by Gage this afternoon. Am very happy with how it turned out. Very professional. This will definitely be where I get my haircut from now on. Love the fact I can have a beer while getting a cut as well, adds such a nice chill setting to the place. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Location. Clean atmosphere, great music. And above all else they serve beer. Dre made me feel like a regular, even though it was first cut at this establishment. I’ll def be back.

Was just there today with my son and this was our second visit. Pretty cool and pleasant atmosphere and the guy at the bar was friendly. I was a bit disappointed to see that only the guys get offered or asked if they would like a drink while ladies are somewhat “ignored”. This has happened both times so I’m now assuming the bar is just for guys. There was another lady that also came in for an haircut and she was also not offered a drink. While all the guys that came after me were asked if they would like a drink or even just some water! Monica was great and she is the reason why I bring my son here. She is friendly and my son just loves chatting with her. She is amazing at what she does as well.
