A great place for a swim and a picnic by a lake in nature! The water is clean and clear and warm (spring fed)! It's an old quarry, and features a roped beach area, safe for kids of all ages! I like that they accept non-motorized sports equipment and floaties! If you're concerned about swimmers itch, speak with the office because they have good info and ways to prevent it. Not everyone gets swimmers itch. I'm a 2nd year RV resident and love the RV park! It's friendly, calming and sociable! Good sized lots and fair priced fees! Keeping our RV here for many more years! Thanks!

6 big mouth basses were caught . good place for a day finishing. I saw lots of big carps...
Pros: -45 min drive from square one - regulated during covid. Once at capacity they will not let more people in so it doesn't get over crowded. - washrooms, change rooms, showers, food cart - warm water - lots of trees to keep shade - picnic tables - lots of parking - it basically has everything you need to enjoy a day in the sun. Cons: - swimmer itch. I personally have not experienced it , but my nephew did break out in a rush - leeches. Haven't experience them in the main beach area. But once we went to the opposite side of the main beach area by the furthest top left dock. Walking in the water from there felt very mushy and muddy and when we came out we were covered in tiny tiny leeches that if you don't look close you won't see them even. But as long as you stay in the main beach area its fine. Room for improvement: - please install hooks in the washrooms and put garbage cans in the washroom or just outside of them. - please clean the park every day or evening of the bird poo. Way too much bird poo everywhere . - please offer fries in the food truck. Over all I am happy with this park and recommend it.
Booked a tour of the park yesterday with my mom who is visually impaired. We had a specific trailer we were interested in. Cassandra drove us around the park in a golf cart as she pointed things out along the way. She was socially unaware and oblivious to the fact that my mom could not see all the things she was pointing out as she drove. After we viewed the trailer, she continued on her sales pitch and kept trying to take us to see trailers out of our budget even though we were pretty clear why we were there. Felt like she was reading a script. The kicker for me at the end was when I mentioned to my mom that I think the walk from the trailers to the water would be too much considering she is visually impaired - and Cassandra said oh don’t worry about it she can just drive her golf cart. Like Cassandra we told you multiple times she is blind. You really dropped the ball. Overall park looks like a great place to spend the summer.
Not a long drive from Mississauga, clean, love the surroundings, peaceful.
