Ordered fish and chips and onion rings. Arrived a bit early but provisions for safe distancing good, and food arrived on time. Fish (haddock) were delicious, not too much batter, fries great, not greasy and very good onion rings. Prices were good. Staff polite and efficient. Will be back!

We were going with the intention of having all-you-can-eat fish & chips which they said they didn't do which made no sense since it was advertised on their website. However, their Hungry Man's Platter was more than enough to fill me with a side of coleslaw.
fish coating was too thick compare to other places. it was too oily and greasy. However the lady who served me was super nice and friendly.
I was super excited to see Golden on a delivery service. I grew up eating Golden fish and chips but moved out of the area. Tonight my spouse was at work, and I don't drive and I was craving some good fish and chips. So I ordered Golden via the delivery service.. Sadly the delivery service let me down. I called the restaurant and they went above and beyond to correct the mistake. I am so grateful! Definitely the type of small business you need to support. And the fish and chips are delicious! We ordered the family Haddock meal, the portions are generous. More than enough food for my family of 4(two are toddler's)! The fish to batter ratio was perfect with the Haddock. Will be back! Next time no delivery service though lol
This is a great fish and chips to visit when you are in the area. They have incredibly tasty fish and chips. The staff is really nice and caring. Also it is really affordable making it a great restaurant to go to. This is a family friendly restaurant.
