Beautiful waterfall with observation decks. A nice trail surrounding the gorge. Ensure to wear the right foor wear when sub zero as the trail can get slippery. Getting down to the base is prohibited I suppose with a 10,000 fine. Good for a day time excursion.

Beautiful falls! I remember going down by the falls many years ago but now you can’t do that anymore, and for good reasons. We humans are trashing the nature so the city of hamilton is try to protect it from us. You get better views of the falls from the top anyway, and from the top right side is even better. The trail by the lookout areas is also accessible so kudos to whoever in the city that designed that, making is available to many others. The hike behind around the falls is beautiful too. You can walk by the road from Albion falls to Butternut falls but it’s so much nicer to go through the trail. Lots of different parking lots nearby but if you go on a good weather day, you might have to drive from lot to lot to find a spot. Enjoy your walk, do take anything with you but if you must, please bring your trash back with you. There’s just too many Timmy’s cups everywhere in this trail. Is one of those yours?

One of the popular hike in Hamilton. The river flow is not strong this month. Both paid Parking and free parking are available. The best viewing place is at the opposite of the fall. The trail is short, less than 6km and easy. The access point is Oak Knoll Park parking lot, Mountain Brow Boulevard. A beautiful trail with nice forest and lots of birds.

Spectacular views all over this trip and falls worth the trip. Even though the city doesn't want you going to the bottom for very good reasons. The viewing area was perfect. The right lens and cameras will get you amazing views. Worth the trip as it was great, the trails and everything about the place. Very few people even on a holiday weekend we only passed a few groups of max 6 people. Plenty of free parking in a couple different spots and with others going in one direction at the falls we went in another direction. The views were over the top at this time of year with all the fall colors included I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone that enjoys fall, hiking, water falls. 10 Stars

Lovely trail covered in snow. Beautiful view. Take a tabaganning slide so that small kids can enjoy and your can also slide then on the trail.. That ways kids don't bother you much about the distance they have to walk.... Nice place for winters
