Excellent establishment. Pays a fair amount for your gold whether in the form of coins or scrap. Much better then other precious metal dealers I've done business with. Prices are clearly outlined on the website so you know what to expect when you visit. Sam is a professional and friendly young man who is pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.
I recently decided to sell some of my old gold items. This was my first experience selling anything like this. After some research, I decided to give Halifax Gold a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the dollar value I obtained from my gold items, as I had no idea what they were worth. I feel that Sam was honest in his valuation - thanks Sam!! I liked his very calm - it's up to you approach - meaning he is not pushy with his transactions. I will certainly use his honest service again.
We met with Sam today. Very knowledgeable young man who was not pushy, or trying to rush us through the process. He was considerate, interested, polite, attentive, efficient, professional and understanding. He was willing to answer our questions as if it were the first time he had heard them. It was a very pleasant and productive visit and we will go back if and when the need arises. It was a bit tricky to find, and it was difficult to locate parking, but otherwise satisfactory.
This was my first time selling anything. Sam was amazing. Patient and very knowledgeable. He was very empathetic as it was a bit emotional for me as it was some of my mom's things who had passed. I would recommend Sam and the company . I will be back. Thank you very much Sam .
The reviews are correct- This place is great! I know nothing about buying or selling gold, but felt totally comfortable here thanks to Sam. The location is very secure and clean, the process was quick and easy, and I feel good about the entire interaction. Made some money, and more than I expected. I actually went back a second time with jewelry from family members after telling them about my experience. I highly recommend this business.
When you decide to trade in gold for money this is the place to do it. The service was very professional. I worried it would feel like a pawn shop but it is the opposite. From the gold testing to the honest price exchange Sam made me feel comfortable. There is no scamming here.
