It looks like people give 5 stars are not students here, and many of the comments in the recent few months looks fake. When I was a student here, my classmate were all hardworking, nobody wasting their time here. But the faculty and staffs were not caring at all. Not perfect industrial connections, no opportunities for top grad schools. If you want them, then that’s all on your own. In some STEM departments, some professors didn’t even fully understand the material and came to teach, and messed up the entire course. The school didn’t provide any kind of support of it. And as international student, you constantly feel the discriminations from local people. My university experience was painful not only because of the discriminations, but also many times, me and my colleagues felt that we need opportunities and resources but the school didn’t offer at all.

Dalhousie has one of the most beautiful university campuses I've ever been on. I stayed in one of the newer residences for a month in the summer and absolutely loved it. The campus is teeming with life and is really close to downtown which is nice.
