I've never found croissants that were quite like the ones I've had in Paris... buttery, soft, fluffy, light, but with a nice crisp flaky outer layer. That is, until I was introduced to Hadrien. This is by far one of the best croissants and pastries I've had in Toronto, and is my go-to. We love the frozen croissants because we can have them whenever at home! Our favorites are the butter croissant, chocolate croissant, raisin roll, and the financiers. You can't go wrong!

Ordered this cake for epiphany. Didn’t know what to expect. It was nice and flaky, had buttery tasty , mildly sweet which we liked it. This tart is normally made for epiphany holiday so it came with a toy inside and it was nice to see it available in here. The only issue is this place is located inside Death in Venice Gelato, as it’s not a stand alone store it took us a while trying to figure out where to pick up our order.

AMAZING pastries for a reasonable price. Everything I tried, I was impressed with, but I was absolutely in love with the almond croissant. Perfectly flaky, buttery and fresh - this is the spot for croissants and baked goods.

This place is absolutely amazing, the almond crossiants are heavenly. It is like having cake in a crossiant. I first had their baked goods at the Farmer's Market in Brickwoods. I fell in love. I don't live in Toronto but if I did I would go there weekly. Luckily you can place an order online and pick up in the store. They share a store with a gelato place, which I need to try! As soon as you walk in you can smell the baked good freshness. I highly recommend ordering ahead of time even though they have a few items in store if you go in the afternoon they are usually sold out.

We bought 2 different types of croissants, financier and quiche. Every single thing was decadent and such a treat to enjoy. As soon as you take a bite you know the person who made this puts a lot of love into their baking. This place needs more recognition for sure. I had no idea we such a gem in the neighbourhood!

I first discovered Hadrien Verrier Pâtisserie last December in a French Christmas market. There was a big lineup for the treats there and it spiked my curiosity. We bought a croissant, a financier and had a homemade hot chocolate. These were all amazing. Tasted like back home in France and the hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. The team was very friendly also. Just had some croissants, pain au chocolat and financier delivered home this morning. It was delivered in a bag with a hand written message on it. Very thoughtful I thought. The croissant and pain au chocolat were delicious. It’s just as I love them. Crisp and flaky as I bite into it. There were 2 chocolate bars in the pain au chocolat, which is the proper way to do it. Sometimes, I get very disappointed when other bakeries only put one. Their hazelnut financier are delish too. Crunchy chocolate outside and more of a surprise hazelnut mousse inside. I definitely recommend this place. Be careful if you want to order on Uber eats. A lot of the items get sold out quick. That’s because it’s that good ;) The best thing to do is to preorder directly with Hadrien Verrier Pâtisserie.
