Cute pedestrian covered bridge about 56 paces long. Built in 1992 spanning the convergence of the Eramosa and Speed Rivers in Guelph. My visit was late at sunset, many ducks and geese were flying in to rest for the night and the bridge was beautifully lit with different colors. Two small plaques appear on two posts facing each other, indicating that they came from a willow tree that grew on the site.

The Covered Bridge is a cornerstone for any great walk downtown Guelph. The bridge overlooks the confluence of the Eramosa and Speed rivers. The bridge includes a ramp on either side which is makes the bridge accessible to all. Design wise, the bridge is a masterpiece. While the supports have metal bars and bolts, the interior uses handmade wooden dowels, giving the illusion that the bridge was built entirely by wood. Head west to the Boathouse and grab some ice cream, or travel East along York rd park. The Covered Bridge is an iconic Guelph landmark.
Great place to take a walk in the cool of January crossing an historic wooden bridge.
Pretty bridge. The water is really low right now. We had a picnic at the park and walked the bridge a few times watching the ducks and geese.
One of the greatest places to look down upon the river, the Confluence of the Speed and the Eramosa... the only downside whatsoever and only reason this isn't a five-star attracted is the damage that's been done to the exterior in parts and the graffiti that is present in parts. On the upside either side has a ramp that allows full accessibility, and access for bikes. Overall one of the nicest pedestrian bridges
