Completely disappointed in my system. Installation was always delayed. Install was done totally wrong, so system does not come close to performing. I had to self diagnose and work on my system over the phone several times to even get it working. Sold an inverter that I would have never purchased as no ability to add batteries. Totally disappointed. If they want to expand and do business in Owen Sound...they are totally doing it wrong. Go somewhere else.

When my roof mounted solar array's inverters started to go into alarm & drop off line I called Steve Dyck at Guelph Solar right away because I had a similar issue in 2014. At that time I was not getting any where with the company that I had purchased the system from. A friend referred me to Guelph Solar. Steve came out to my house, quickly identified the issue and had it corrected immediately. Recently, the system dropped off line. Steve came to my house, identified the issue and corrected it on the spot. This time Steve found the root cause of both issues. The original installer failed to set the parameters correctly. Now my solar array is working as designed! Guelph Solar has also answered a few calls for warranty work over the past six years. Their team members are friendly, knowledgable and very enthusiastic about renewable energy. I will not look any further than Guelph Solar for any future service work or equipment purchases.

Guelph Solar took over maintenance from a company that didn't set my system up properly in the first place. It took a little to sort things out, but they did an admirable job, and I was happy with their billing. It was a little complex, but they got things worked out to my satisfaction. We have just completed the first year of generation from our 44 panel installation by Guelph Solar. Our production was 12.54 MWh and that amount was within 1% of what Steve and Company promised we would get. We may have exceeded 13 MWh had it not been for the dreary April and May this year. We are very happy to have generated as much energy as we used in the prior year. Very happy with the Guelph Solar experience from first phone conversation to today.
