Wonderful winter walk through the park! Such a tranquil, peaceful place in the middle of a town!!! My only concern is the amount of people who do not pick-up after their dogs...quite gross actually. Be responsible folks so we could all not have to worry about stepping on landmines. We had 2 dogs with us on our walk and left nothing behind on the trails.

Good. Muddy in some places by big and looks nice. Not for biking.

Update Feb. 16, 2021. Lots of fresh snow. Not icy now. Beautiful trail but gets icy in winter and some areas are quite hilly: not easy to go up or down without falling. (Otherwise, a 4 or 5 star rating would apply.) Beautiful trails through wooded areas but easy to get lost since they are not marked. We met someone who had an All Trails Map on his phone, but to get that, you need to pay a subscription fee to All Trails. We were there Jan. 8. Two entrances: Main one, by the traffic light is icy but much of the trail is not steep, so ice is less of a problem. After fresh snow, it won't be as icy. Other entrance: directly across the road from the Hanlon Creek Trail parking area. 505 Kortright Road West. This trail is much more hilly, narrower paths, ice was a problem when going up or down a hill.

Nice place to walk. In winter the dense trees offer good protection against wind

I'm giving this 3 stars only cause it was confusing to walk around on the trails. Better signage is needed. If I didn't have my phone with me, would easily have gotten lost. Other than that, nice trails and wooded areas!
