Peter A. McSherry Law Office is located in Guelph, Canada on 343 Waterloo Ave. Peter A. McSherry Law Office is rated 4.1 out of 5 in the category employment attorney in Canada. At my law firm, Peter A. McSherry Law Office in Guelph, I work diligently to protect the rights of employees in Ontario. I personally welcome you to come to my office and encourage a full discussion of your particular employment issue(s) in our first meeting. Very few legal practitioners fully understand the intricacies of human rights or the issues under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA), Employment Insurance Act, and the Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) and how they all interact from an employment law perspective. I have been working since 1997 with these types of matters, keeping informed of updates to the laws and issues in the workplace. I fight for my clients' fair treatment and the protection of their rights. If you have concerns about a recent wrongful dismissal, any form of discrimination, breach of a contract or non-payment of a severance package, contact me immediately. I can help you understand your rights, all aspects of documents and contracts, and your options. Call me at 519-821-5465 or contact me by e-mail to schedule a consultation

I had a wonderful experience with Mr. McSherry and his office. Lynnette & Chrissy were amazing and always extremely helpful, kind and responsive. Mr. McSherry made me feel like a priority. He is very knowledgeable, straight forward, honest and empathetic. He provided all the information necessary for me to make the best choice for my situation and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I will and do absolutely recommend Mr. McSherry to anyone looking for a great employment lawyer!

Peter said during our meeting I would (not \could\) get 100K (for wrongful dismissal from a company where I had worked for 11 and half years). Got me only 30K, out of which he pocketed 10K. Does not know how to negotiate at all. Did not fight at all. So essentially after waiting for 10 months, I took home 20K when this was could have been a much bigger settlement. I had to pay a 2500 retainer upfront which he said would be refunded to me in the end as they deduct their fees from settlement offer. However, Peter did not send me my 2500 back until I had to ask for it. When he did send it back, he said \he didn't recall saying to me he would refund it\. So not only is he untrustworthy, but also arrogant. Plus, his office is full of unfriendly, obnoxious staff. Basically did not do any work. My detailed statement got us to the arbitration stage, where Peter failed to do his job and negotiate a decent settlement.

Peter recently helped me with a dismissal case. I found him to be thoughtful and empathetic. He also provided excellent, down to earth, direct advice. My fear and stress of the situation was greatly reduced and I was able to sleep. Peter's billing is fair and provides great value for the money. I highly recommend Peter.

Peter has provided legal services and advice to me and many people I know. His fees are reasonable and is conveniently located, with plenty of parking on-site. While he completes a fair amount of Real Estate transactions, he is especially well-known for his Employment Law practice.
