Have been buying Greenland Beefsteak tomatoes at Red River Coop in Selkirk the last few weeks. Amazing tomatoes. Just like I picked them out of my own garden.

Not only does Greenland Gardens grow great veggies, but they run such a well designed and sustainable organization. The greenhouses are a lovely combination of innovation and good old fashioned common sense. It also provides meaningful employment to people in the area. Truly grassroots, truly Manitoban, and truly healthful!
Not only do they grow the best vegetables in the community, they also are a very well organized and clean facility run by very nice people. Overall a very nice place.
