Casserole rice white rice with a meat/seafood topping and vegetables cooked in a casserole piping hot. Small cozy place, seats 35. Service is friendly. Prices are decent at about 9 for each casserole. Much more rice than toppings. Used to be a Vietnamese place.

As of this writing my wife and I have visited Green Bamboo 2x now. Since we're hungry it slips my mind at times to check in _; Now Green Bamboo specializes primarily on Clay Pot Rice dishes, they offer 36 different clay pot rice options. In my opinion, from all the clay pot rice restos we have visited this is at the top of our list for getting it "right" the rice at the bottom is super crispy but not burnt. We tried the clay pot rice at Kenny's Noodles and those didn't come close to the crispiness of the rice from Green Bamboo. To date we have tried dishes : #05 Black Beans spare rib rice, #12 Dry shrimp and mince pork rice, #21 chinese sausage and preserved meat rice & #23 preserved pork belly rice. Wife and I enjoyed those 4, but for use #23 & #05 so far are the ones that shine for us. We plan to go back to try other dishes. Their value of portion size to money spent is good 4/5 for the clay pot rice. Their soup value however is much less. Please note : you should really be fan of the crispy rice. I recommended a friend to Green Bamboo and they didn't enjoy their experience due to the crispy rice was too crispy for their tastes. They prefer the level of crispiness of rice from Kenny's Noodles. The hot pot rice was amazing! The prices were decent as well. Definetly worth the wait because they make it fresh.

First time eating in this restaurant. Small , price reasonable, very delicious. I was going to give 5 stars but there comes a dirty crazy lady . Stained and comes to me sweat to me that I will be a widow and my husband will dead. I am very angry though I knew she is crazy! We have to move away from her. When I told the owner of the restaurant she said she goes there very often! So, next time if you go there be sure you sit inside near the kitchen caused the crazy lady will sit near the exit.
We started with traditional soup in a clay pot. Then we ordered Eel clay pot rice and Salted Fish and Minced Pork clay pot rice. They even gave each of us 2 plates of veggies. Great economic dinner place. Small but cozy. It opens every day from 11am - 10pm.
This is the biggest rip off of my life. The food tasted terrible and the portion was unbelievably small. For the price that they charge and from the pictures you would think it is filling or at least tastes good but that's not the case. This place is under new management and is very very bad. Before it was a Vietnamese restaurant and had the same name with great food, these people are just using the name. Nothing from the old menu remains. Very disappointed and I recommend to stay away from this place.
It's a cozy place, very friendly service. I had the satay ribs hotpot, and it was quite flavourful. Only issue was there was a tad too much oil from the satay sauce which drowned the rice.
