A unique little spot/trail. This is one of the coolest little tucked away secrets and you will realize it once you get to the actual lookout. Giant slabs of rock pretrude from the earth and offer you a view over acres of forest , hills and a little big standing dozens of feet in the air. The trails themselves are quiet deceiving and actually go on for quiet some distance so if you are looking for something longer then just a little loop , you will get that here.

Great lookout over a lovely forest. A good easy 1.5 km hike (I carried a baby with no trouble, trail looks like an old logging road and can be muddy in spots) and then great views over the cliff. No guard rails up there (which is good, it's pristine up there) so be careful if you have wee ones.

Easy for most, but some ups and downs, lots of exposed roots and rocks. If you follow the blue marked trees no issues. Approx 20 min hike from parking lot to lookout at an average leisurely pace. Dogs, kids would be fine. Not accessible. Good shoes recommended. Arrived at 8:20 saw no people. Great for social distancing. Spent about 1.5hrs here. Beautiful 2.5km hike around trip. Overall 12m meter elevation gained along route. Used All Trails App.

Beautiful lookout point minutes from town. There's only a small parking lot and I think due to Covid, there was a massive amount of people there the Saturday we went, in the fall. However, people park along the side of the road so it's not a problem - just watch out for speeding cars. It's a fairly short hike up to the lookout on a dirt path, but it's uphill the entire time. Something to keep in mind if you have difficulty walking. From the amount of cars, we thought it'd be a zoo when we reached the lookout, but it was fine. Predictably, the crowd stuck to the one main area to take photos and leave, but if you walk for a minute or so, in either direction along the path at the top, it's nearly empty. It's a beautiful lookout, a long rocky escarpment overlooking a vast wooded area. Pretty breathtaking, and there are a number of trails / paths you can follow. Nice place to spend a couple hours.

We love this trail. Every season is beautiful. But as a local I try to avoid to go during weeks in fall season! It's known as an 'insta worthy' place so lots of people from Ottawa and around goes there for pictures. Advice: the trail entrance is very icy during late fall/ spring. Bring the proper gear. There is different trails connecting. It is worth exploring a bit. It also looked on a unceded land, so please read more about this wonderful place and acknowledge your privileges. There is signage to read.
