We started in Grande Prairie nearly 30 years ago with the vision of helping people with health related issues, disabilities, neurodiversity, learning disabilities, chronic pain, and significant mental health issues to find their passion in the world of work. Our services are individualized and mostly funded through either the federal or provincial government, and occasionally we assist clients through their insurer. For people who are experiencing loss of activity, including daily home activities and work, we may use the Progressive Goal Achievement Program, to help individuals gain renewed confidence and hope in their ability to return to work. From there, we help people explore what their career interests, aptitudes, intelligences are and how that fits within the world of work. Essential supports and services for an effective job search, including resume writing, finding employers in the hidden job market (including through Linkedin!) and interview skills are provided. Importantly, we help people figure out what employers need to know about their health issues to ensure a good employer match and long-term employment. Our focus is on helping people find the right job at the right time. The right job means one that maximizes your abilities.
