We finished our breakfast .food was great service was slow,waitress looks like new servers so they get a pass... However,NO MASK OR SHIELD WEARING BY STAFF, AND THEY WERE NOT STANDING 6 FEET APART FROM THE GUSEST TAKING ORDERS,HOVERING OVER GUEST AT DIFFERENT TABLES NO SANITIZING OF HANDS AFTER SERVING A TABLE TO GO TO THE NEXT TABLE!!! WHEN THE WAITRESS WAS ASKED ABOUT MASK SHE SAID IT WASN’T MANDATORY!! GO FIGURE SMALL TOWN ATTITUDE WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF “ALBERTA HEALTH STANDARDS” I’M A HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. THE WORST PART WAS WATCHING THE OWNER YELL AT GUESTS WHO WERE ALL SITTING TOGETHER(Same household) AS THEY WERE LEAVING TO MEET THEIR FAMILY, AS THESE GUEST WERE HERE HUGGING THEIR FAMILY (BTW IE THEIR CHOICE,) OUTSIDE OF THE RESTAURANT,THE OWNER JEAN STARTED YELKING SOCIAL DISTANCE SCREAMING AT THE GUEST WHILST HE HIMSELF HAD NO MASK AND WASN’T SOCIAL DISTANCING WITH A MAINTENANCE WORKER!!! WOW THIS OWNER NEEDS TO BRUSH UP ON THE AHS REQUIREMENTS AND UNDERSTAND WHAT CROSS CONTAMINATION IS ALL ABOUT ! HE NEEDS TO THEN HAVE HIS STAFF GO TROUGH PROPER TRAINING ON HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR C19!!!! After hearing how he treated guest outside I will never return nor will any of my family and friends.

As you drive up to the hotel it's really underwhelming, however once inside you can see they have made many upgrades. Checking in was easy and the lady at the front desk let me know they have updated rooms and non upgraded rooms. I opted for one of the upgraded room and enjoyed it. Rooms are quite dark, some better light bulbs would be a great however the shower was great. All in all its a good hotel and the staff is very friendly.

Stayed for a week.. Front desk and room services was great... Too bad i couldn't say the same for some of the food.... Had the worst hot chicken ever sent to my room.... Cold and in foam containers !!??... With no utensils... Its room service... Not take out! And other nites good and hot on plates

Received an extremely warm welcome at the dining lounge. Freindly service and the food was very delicious. Also the price was very affordable. Kudos! A definite worthwhile check it out spot :)

We are in a Johnny Canoe room, one of the newly renovated ones. It is lovely. The beds are comfortable, the room is quiet, the decor is relaxing. The bathroom is luxurious and ultra modern with three different showerheads and gorgeous tile. There is hand carved artwork both in the room and outside on each door. Great service, great food and friendly, accommodating staff. This is the fourth time we've been here and we will be back.

I've stayed here many times over the years as leader of an Edmonton hiking group, and always found the rooms comfortable and the service good. The beds are great, the wi-fi good, and the onsite restaurant has excellent food.
