The owner canceled us one day before the reservation to rent to another person. We reserved one year ago. We came from Quebec. He told us that the rain broke the place, but we decided to go for a quick check... no dammage and someone was there... from Quebec too.

What a cute great cottage, amazing view of the Ocean and has a big size deck for enjoying the outdoors!
We rent the place a year ago, and we tried calling him multiple times in the last month to have some clarification about our arrival, but he never called back or answered. The day before our arrival (note here that we are already 12 hour away from home) he finally came back to us to tell us we couldn't stay there because the place was damaged. But we went anyway to see how it was looking and what we were missing out... well there was a car parked there that was learly not a repairman... I recommend you to never take your business to this person if you don't want to be stuck 12 hours away from home without any place to go. Very disapointed with my experience. Edit: you told us the place was damaged by rain before you even knew we would be 5, plus we were ready to accept any fees related to this. We also brought a bedroll with us to not use any furniture as a bed. We tried contacting you back in july to talk to you about the whole 5 people deal. But as I stated earlier you never answer to our calls and emails. The "damaged by rain" thing would have been fine if it would have been true, but sadly it was clearly not. Thanks you for your response, as I can see you now have plenty of time to answer your customers. Have a nice day and I hope you understand the difficult situation you left us in at the last minute.
Je suis partie en vacance avec ma belle-famille... voyage que nous croyons qui allais bien se dérouler puisque le voyage était planifié au jours près depuis plus d’un an. Le propriétaire à contacter à la dernière minutes afin de nous annoncer « y avais un dégât d’eau » mais quel surprise quand nous avons passer devant M. avais louer à d’autres personnes et de plus du Québec aussi.. Bref maintenant nous nous retrouvons dans un autre endroit beaucoup moins appréciable... merci encore .. 0 étoile serait d’ailleurs plus approprié pour ce type de situation.
Aucune communication. J'ai envoyer 2 courriels et 3 appels téléphonique mais jamais eu de réponse. Puis la veille de notre arrivée le propriétaire a annulée ma réservation fait plusieurs mois a l'avance pour louer a plus offrant !!!!
