If you are a parent buying comics for your kids, Gotham Central is the place for you! I literally know nothing about comics, we are in the middle of a lockdown in Mississauga, I am high risk and my kids for the first time ever show an interest in comics for Christmas. My older son is studying film in University and loves the Joker character, so I was searching for those comics. I have three other comic book stores closer to my house and none of them had the selection, but more importantly none of them were as helpful as the owner of Gotham Central - Carlos. Carlos was amazing. He explained everything about the Joker comics to me, then he put together an age appropriate package for my younger son of some of the characters I told him he likes. Curbside pickup was perfect and Carlos even took the time to sanitize the bag for us. My husband got lost finding the place and I thought he would be upset, but he said it was worth the time and would go back in a heartbeat now that he knows where it is. He said Carlos was amazing too. It is this kind of service that you only hear about in stories. Carlos is clearly a good, honest, decent person. Carlos, thank you so much! You will be our go-to-guy for comics!

Carlos and his team have maneuvered through this pandemic and all its challenges as a business owner, all the while maintaining excellent service, a genuine care for all his clients and a continued positive contributor to those in need in the community through the charity drives he holds. Currently when you are picking up your order curbside, you can also get a Gorham Central holiday t-shirt with money raised going towards charity

Best comic shop no doubt about it. Carlos and team make sure to go above and beyond for their customers not to mentionall the glorious comics. I couldn't be luckier that this is my LCS. If your ever in the area make sure to stop in at GC!!

Always such a pleasant visit! Of all the comic stores I've been to, they have the biggest selection and its always changing. Carlos is an absolute legend and makes you feel like you've known each other your whole life. After the first visit he knew my name and on the second asked for updates on some of the things we discussed during our first meeting. Best shop in town no doubt!
