My time at Trafalgar East centre was truly life changing. I came to them with an addiction and some mental health issues and all my issues were addressed. They guided me into becoming the person I am today. I found myself, found out new hobbies that I thoroughly enjoyed and made some life long friendships. The staff there were amazing. I definitely had some off days where I was freaking out because of personal stuff I was dealing with and there was always a counsellor to talk to, so I was able to work through my stuff. They challenged me where I needed to be challenged, guided me when I needed guidance and let me be when they know I had developed the skills to work through it myself. I truly believe they saved my life in more aspects than just one. I have went through other treatment centres and hospitalization but never had the support and encouragement that I received here. Jackie the nurse it absolutely amazing she listened to my rants daily. Shona was amazing sharing some of her experiences to help me with mine. Brynn and Breanne definitely helped me even if it was just to lend an ear when I needed it. Connor and Jess and Joe you guys had amazing chats with me. The cooks and the students are amazing help as well. The staff is amazing if you or a loved one is ready for help to concur your addiction this is the place to go

It's been over a year since I stayed at the Trafalgar Residence. If you are looking for a well rounded approach to addiction recovery this is the place. It will change your body mind and soul. The staff is amazing, the grounds are amazing and the food is amazing. But the most amazing part of this place is that if you allow yourself to be open you might just find yourself. They give you the tools but you still have to do the work. I still go back to TR for the alumni Saturday night meeting occasionally. If your ready give them a call.

Trafalgar Residence is an amazing place to go. Our experience was wonderful. The staff were super helpful with all our families needs. The counsellors and therapists were incredible. It was such a safe place and beautiful environment. My step-son honestly didn't want to leave, he loved it so much. In fact he extended by two weeks. I recommend that if you are in need of help, to check this amazing place out. They saved our family and i couldn't be anymore thankful.

I had an excellent experience at Trafalgar. The staff and therapists were fantastic and the program equipped me with the tools to help combat my addiction issues. As well, the aftercare and follow-up provided once clients have left the facilities is amazing.

Without a doubt I say this is the number one program to attend for addiction and trauma in the country. This program I highly recommend if you are willing to do the work and want to heal yourself. Arriving at the centre the welcome mat was laid out from the administration personnel to the counsellors, and arriving at the centre you are truly welcomed with open arms from a very dedicated and caring staff.All the groups were an asset to me right from the large group to the smaller journal group (my fav) and the one on one sessions with your therapist. This program is designed in away as to help you find what your true issues are and not just the side effects, but to deal with the WHY you turned to substances. All staff are truly awesome to all the clients that come here regardless of there background. The counsellors here are very dedicated to helping the clients to get well are do truly care for you achieving that but you must do the work. The program works when you put forth the effort to help yourself, there is no hand holding here as you are your own boss here. I am 53 years old and was disconnected from most aspects of my life emotionally, psychosocial, spiritually, This program gave me the life skills which I did not acquire throughout my life, truly a very awesome program to attend. It is and was my honour to have attended this program and to have known such generous, caring, kind people here at the centre and that truly comes from the heart.
