I have enjoyed going to your store and I like the products you offer , however, due to your policy on allowing those ‘exempt ‘ from wearing masks inside the store, I will not be returning and I will let my friends and family know of your policy to protect them. Your employees are not comfortable with the policy as I spoke to them about it. Until you follow other stores where they strictly adhere to everyone in store to wear a mask ,offer online shopping , or curb side pick up to those who are ‘exempt’ from wearing a mask in your store , I will never return now nor post pandemic. Unfortunate, as I really enjoyed the experience and products of your store. (I see you offer online shopping and curbside ,however , you also allow them to shop inside for the SMALL few who are exempt) You promote optimal health , and yet you put your employees and your customers at risk by letting the few who claim to be exempt from wearing masks inside the store. Be a leader like Indigo book store and the like and follow their strict guidelines ,exemption or no exemption for mask wearing —\u003e , no mask , no entry.

First time at Goodness Me and was taken away by their vast collection and variety offered. Unexpected and delighted! I enjoyed both their cold salad and warm food bar. They prepare the food on site which is my preference when in those rare occasions I choose to eat on the go. They have fresh baked goods, organic nuts, dry herbs to select from, makeup, meats, gluten free, cleaning supplies and so many different areas to choose from. Easy stop off the 400 on my way to Toronto or up north. Keep in mind this is a popular high traffic area off the 400. Worth the stop over if passing by or live in the area. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Prices were comparable to Whole Foods before they were bought by Amazon. Organic and natural foods are always priced higher but over time will get lower as demand goes up. I am very thankful to these owner’s who step out to open stores/chains like this one and provide healthier options. I have learned over the years to buy in bulk (non-perishable) to stock up when on sale and always buy organic greens and fruits no matter what. Health first! Their selection is impressive! So delighted to come across this store. Found and picked up a few things I have been looking for. Will be back again and take some cool pictures. May 22/19 - Second visit within a month and absolutely love this place. I picked up a few things for my kitchen and sat down to have what turned out to be another delicious and nutritious meal! Thank you Goodness Me! Love it! Will be my go to store to pick up my groceries. Such a great selection! So happy and pleased you are a 30 minute drive for me. Thank you! Life is Good! :)
I have been shopping in the store for the past three years. It will be my last to time going there. I never experienced this kind of attitude from the store cashier. The argument started over me paying in cash and not using credit card . Cash is the legal tender and must be excepted at any store. If you prefer,as the cashier said ,to be paid by anything else but cash it doesn’t mean you don’t except cash. Or make a sign on the front of your store and point out that if customer wishes to pay with cash he/ she is not welcome to your store . Anyways the cashier Sarah was rude and very disrespectful and when I mention that I will complain , she said, she doesn’t care. It is very upsetting that the store employee feels she can be a Covid police and talk to the customers in hostile manner. I guess you do not need our business, the store is empty only one cash register opened.
Has some good food options but the prices are high. makes sense since the quality is really good. Staff are nice and you can find a lot of neat things there! Will definitely be back for some items I cant find anywhere else
Have been at this Goodness Me! several times. The largest health food store with the greatest variety of products. Very well maintained, clean, and well organised. The naturopathic remedies area may require some minor navigation to find what one may be looking for but staff are quite helpful. Ample parking, mobility impaired access, and reasonable to slightly moderate pricing generally. There is a meeting / instructional room on site. Website very well made and maintained which I often use prior to a purchase.
My daughter recently decided to start eating more ethically. We knew about Goodness Me but had never been. She went on her own (because it's safer) and although we loved the products that she purchased, we have sworn to never return. Our safety is extremely important to us. We both work with vulnerable populations and have strived to use good sense for an entire year with regard to keeping ourselves safe. How is it that in this store, staff are not forced to wear proper PPE? Yours is a store that promotes healthier eating for "Goodness" sake! Your standard mechanical answer addresses that you offer curbside pickup for those that cannot wear a mask but what about your employees? If people cannot wear a mask, they have the option of wearing a shield. If they cannot even wear a shield then many businesses provide other options to assist such as delivery, curbside service, etc. If it's a staff member who cannot wear a mask or shield, then a transfer of duties is necessary - you cannot put your customers at risk. Do you not care about your client's health? So disappointing! So irresponsible!
Thank you for being a SANE and FAIR company that accepts medical exemptions amid a pool of fear mongering and unscientific mandates that have millions of Canadians forced to wear a face covering under the false pretense that they filter out 100nm viral particles. I work at a plastic research lab in Toronto and I have done the studies myself regarding the particles efficiency testing for a variety of masks including the surgical and cloth masks...none which are qualified to filter out 100nm viral particles. The ASTM tests for particles filtration efficiency only go down to 300nm salt particles and even at that diameter (3x larger than SARS-COV-2) surgical and cloth masks allow millions of particles FREELY pass every 5 minutes. The results in labs are given in particles efficiency % but this has no relation to biological infectious agents especially of millions upon millions are flowing through the mask per 10 minutes. If cloth masks and surgical masks could filter out viruses effectively then they would be used in labs instead of a respirator cartridge that costs hundreds of dollars and only can be used for 4 hour time slots. If this were the case then I could take the used cartridge and wash and reuse and be confident that it will filter out plastic nanoparticles that we work with in the lab. The whole notion that these flimsy 1mm PP masks are filtering out 100nm viruses is based on false science and cannot be proven in a laboratory setting, on contrary the opposite is true. I even have data from 6 masks sandwiched together and still yet hundreds of thousands of 300nm particles flow through freely. The fear mongering and propaganda to mask millions of people in Canada including children and causing O2 limiting surface lung hypoxia is disgusting and NOT based on scientific evidence whatsoever. In fact the mask is hindering the breathing of people and recirculating CO2 into the lungs causing a lower blood O2 levels thus reducing immunity.
Goodness Me has been my favourite for a while. Top quality food, freshest vegetables and fruit, a great selection of health products. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I'm sad that their cafeteria is closed now, I enjoyed having coffee or lunch there. Great quality food, feels like it's home-made
