In light of Covid restrictions as well as the fact it was just Christmas and people receive gift cards as gifts, I feel like Golf Town needs to revisit their gift card policy. Why is it that you can only use a maximum number of gift cards for an online purchase? I contacted Golf Town about this and was told I could go to the store and combine them. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of online shopping? A gift card is the same as cash why can I only use 3 at once? Makes absolutely no sense? The fact that you are encouraging people to come to the store during a pandemic rather than shop online blows my mind. Terrible! To bad for me there is no competitor to Golf Town. I guess they can do whatever they please. Bad on you though for not encouraging social distancing. Please update your system that is all!

One of my favourite Golf Town locations. Here's why: great friendly service and the store is rarely busy so you have the time and space to do your golf thing without feeling rushed or cramped. Also met Walter Gretzky in there once. How awesome is that?
Tried to return a pair of golf shoes bought @ the end of July 2020 because of a breakdown in the inside of the right shoe. Suffice it to say, and given they didn't have my size in stock all they needed to do was give me a credit or gift card in the amount I spent. Then, when the shoe was back in stock I could head to the store and get a new pair. Nope, after the assistant manager didn't present me, the customer with a reasonable option to fix the issue I left with my defective golf shoes in a new Golf Town bag. I'm told I have to the end of July 2021 to come back to exchange said shoes, if they have them in stock. In the past I've enjoyed my visits to Golf Town, but today they blew their T shot into the woods, deep into the woods.
Called golftown ancaster multiple times to speak to someone about getting my clubs regripped without success I thought I’d make the 35 minute drive to the store to see if I could just get answers in person. when I arrived I was greeted by the manger at the door he informed me that it would be a 3 week wait to have it done, I then told the manger this was a huge waste of my time when someone could of easily just picked up the phone and told me that this was the case and he stated everyone is busy, there was approximately 5-7 staff members just standing around the store.
