Jim the owner is a gent. Great place to base yourself for a night or two. Rooms are everything you need for a stop over with cosy beds and a good bathroom. Fire pit is great in the evening. Have the big spray on hand around the pit though. Great value for money!
Friendly staffs and absolutely spotless cabins. My friends and I stayed at "Mountain View Cabins" for few days, I can say for sure it was one of my best "Get away" experience in Canada Guest Fridge, WiFi, BBQ & Hot in-suit shower; combined with wooden fire camp, amazing scenery and organic country-side location makes it such a relaxing and fun place to be Don't forget to go for easy hike around"Thompson Fall" It was raining during our entire stay, but none of us got bored, we gathered around the fire and shared food inside common kitchen area For some of my friends splitting woods was first time experience, if you haven't done it before, you should try here You might be lucky to meet Jim who is the owner of this business, otherwise rest of the staff are as friendly as him and lovely to spend time
Awesome place to stay right near Golden. Cabin was cute and clean. No WiFi so a nice unplugged sleep. Staff was super friendly.
Amazing camping experience with the luxury of staying in hotel like cabins with nice hot showers and beds. Staff were lovely. Spectacular view of Rocky Mountains. We would definitely come back.
The owner of the cabins was so friendly and kind. The staff follow suit. If you’re looking an isolated, peaceful retreat this is your place. The views are AMAZING. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes are unbearable. I grew up in Nova Scotia and I have NEVER seen them as bad as they were there. There is also a curfew of 10pm there for bonfires.
Great little find. You get your own cabin for a great price. Was pet friendly. Got a cute little breakfast in the morning. My boyfriend and I loved it. Would definitely recommend.
Nice staff, warm inside of Cabin, beautiful nature Sometimes we need time off from technology... Which is good there is no wifi. (bring your hair drier)
