I totally enjoy the work of this studio because their pottery is just so satisfying. It ticks all my boxes In their shapes, textures, and the way they are constantly finding new and unique glazing techniques and fresh relevant designs within classic forms. My favourites are the ginkgo bowls in fresh green glazing and delicate organic patterns , and the salmon bowl and plates with their rich earthy colours and the stories the etched salmon tell. Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much Island Clayworks!

Owners went out of their way to accommodate our group of motorcyclists. Very friendly and excellent food!

Island Clayworks doesn’t disappoint! Beautiful and unique pottery with a west coast flair make shopping on their site an enjoyable and worthwhile event. I absolutely love the bowls I ordered before Christmas and they arrived safely and in a timely manner well within my budget. Thank you Island Clayworks for sharing your creativity and skills!

I’ve known Anita and Neil for many years but have never had the privilege of visiting their gallery in Gold River. One day, hopefully soon after this pandemic is over, I’ll travel up island to view their latest work. They each make a wonderful variety of ceramics and seem to be flourishing in their new space.

Nice small town cafe with a decent selection of breakfast and lunch options. Adequate seating available with some pottery and other knick knacks for sale. Great place to stop for a bite.

Though they no longer have the restaurant side of the business that's ok (even if I miss their food and coffee) this has and will give them even more time on their true love of pottery each piece is unique and hand sculpted / every detail is hand carved into each item. They truly love what they do and it shows they also remember their customers even if it's been months since they've seen them. True customer service and amazing unique pieces!

I received a beautiful Ginko bowl and matching mug for Christmas and I absolutely adore them both! Not only is the pottery stunning, but it's easy to see that it is well-made and high quality.
