John was full of knowledge and took the time to educate me on diamond buying and selling. His calm and thoughtful demeanor made me confident in my choice to do business here. He is not out to rip you off just get you what your looking for at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this buisness.

Met with John today and had a very nice experience. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on the jewelry as well as providing me with a fair price for it. I will go back to him once I’ve had a chance to dig through my old jewelry again. I also plan on going to him for any future jewelry purchases as he has a large and beautiful selection for sale.

Great experience at Gold and Diamond Buyers & Sellers! For our 25th anniversary, I wanted to buy a spectacular diamond ring for my wife. (To ensure another 25 beautiful years, haha!) Though I expected a typical jewelry pitch as you often encounter at places like Spence Diamonds, Micheal Hill, and People's, I didn't experience anything like that at this place. John and his team took the time, were very patient, let me figure it out myself, let me make my own decisions, but with excellent (no pushing) advice when I asked for it. Their 'Lab Grown Diamond Collection' is absolutely stunning. Yes, these diamonds are made in a lab... Nevertheless, we're talking about REAL diamonds. And they're huge! And they look absolutely amazing! Thank you John! The look on my wife's face was absolute priceless when I presented this three-stone diamond ring to her. (But I didn't have to take out a loan to afford it.) Fabulous place to shop for the most beautiful diamonds you can get in Calgary. Best bling for your buck!

My four year old and I were treated very well by John, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a diamond. The selection of jewlery he has is very impressive. A beautiful and unique piece for every price range. He is very knowlagable and HE WILL 100% SAVE YOU ALOT OF MONEY if you are looking to purchase a diamond. I, however, was not looking to purchase anything. I had visited the shop to sell jewlery. Upon arrival he explained that his machine xrays the piece to give exact % of gold that was in the item, stating some stamped 14k are actually more and therefor I would be getting more. He also stated that the remaining % would often be Silver, (which he stated he would pay for but did not calcuate into the ammount he paid me) Copper, Steel, Ect. I walked out with a fair chunk of change. I do think he could have paid me more, and if I wasn't in such a rush I would have considered another opinion. The whole reason of visiting his particular office was because I had a diamond ring, and he didn't pay me very much for diamond at all. I would have given 5 stars if he would have paid me for the silver like he had stated he was going to or at minimum, not tell me he was.
