Please be advised that if this company is trying to collect from you, their is a good chance that they are breaking consumer protection laws. I would highly advise that what ever province you live in please do your research on the laws that protect you. If you are a resident of Alberta and this company has tried to collect a debt from you during April 1, 2019 - May 9, 2019, please read carefully. Go Beyond Collections Agency Inc did not hold a valid license during that time frame, therefore were not legally allowed to operate in the province of Alberta. That was confirmed by a representative of the service Alberta website via phone call. Also according to the same representative only the CEO has held a valid license in the province of Alberta. Agency and agent both need to be licensed to legally collect in the province of Alberta. On top of lack of licensing this company breached several consumer protection act laws set out by the province of Alberta during my contact with them. The CEO is also complicit with the conduct and behavior of the agents he hires. He tried to mislead and lie to me during his involvement. I now have email proof of deceit and lies from the OWNER of this company, so do not let him fool you. He operates with the low level of integrity that his agents do. Save all of your emails, and file complaints with the service department of the provincial government of the province you reside in. The representative that I spoke with for the Service Alberta department heavily encouraged me to file a complaint. I have been advised as well to take legal action. This company preys on people's lack of knowledge of their rights, and I would be willing to bet their have been multiple debts collected illegally. Do not let this company bully harass, or lie to you. Do your research and protect yourself. If I could leave 0 starts I would, 1 is way higher then they deserve.

If I could give them no stars I would! They went after me for a debt that wasn’t mine I even sent them court papers proving it’s not and when I asked for proof of there license to collect Greg wouldn’t give me it so I called consumer protection and was told they didn’t have a license to collect in Albert then next day after I confronted him about him he got it but non of his agents are licensed to collect in Alberta! Oh and to top this all off they sent this to trans union and messed my credit up and sent me a letters to garnish my wage and the wage garnishment papers weren’t even legal ones they faked them! So I’m now taking them to court for the amount they Reported on my credit and for damages for a debt I proved multiple times to not be mine! I am also taking the company that gave them false information to court as well! He told me I need to calm down and that he wanted to talk he never tried to call or email me but I spoke to a lawyer and found out they were in the wrong so suing them is my best bet to help fix the damage they did! Do not deal with this company because there agents are licensed to collect in any province but Ontario!
