It was our first time ever the for a "try the track" day and Lars was the coach. They were very welcoming and patient. I would recommend it to anyone even remotely interested!

Great track, great vibes, and that guy Cam is pretty cool.
I spend half my summer training and racing at the Glenmore Velodrome and love every minute of it. The old school 400 metre track has produced multiple Olympians and I'm sure will produce a few more.
Great place to both train and learn track riding. Almost every night there is something going on there.
We pulled together a group of kids and adults and organized an introductory "Try the Track" night with Calgary Bike Track League (cbtl.ca). The track nights are zero cost. We had a couple of CBTL's track managers come out and spend a few hours with us. We went from zero to paceline in two hours! It was a great experience to be able to go from never ridden a track bike to being able to ride the entire track in a really safe and controlled environment. The instructions and the progressions were really easy to manage. Everybody in our group, old and young, left with a huge smile on their face. We all want to come back for more. Annual membership that includes track bike usage is 125 which in my opinion is unbeatable value. The Try the track night for twelve people at zero cost is completely de-risked. These guys are passionate and knowledgeable about their craft.
Amazingly affordable and they teach you how to use it for free! Bike rental is included in membership
--only velodrome in the city so y'gotta love it! Be mindful of the address. Although it's listed on 19th St. SW, this is nearly always accessed at the intersection of 50th Ave and 16th St. SW by the softball diamonds.
Have you tried track biking?
