Thank you Diane for your incredible love, support and guidance when I have needed it most. Your ability to hone in to my needs and provide a safe place to open up and allow healing has been invaluable. I am truly grateful, not only for your complete honesty in helping me see things in a new light but also for your wonderful sense of humour which always brings a smile to my face no matter what I am facing – you are a true gift. As a young couple, my partner and I were referred by a friend to see Dianne. We hadn't done anything like counselling before, and she was new to Victoria - I think from Vancouver. She didn't make it easy but we got a lot of crucial things surfaced and discussed. She was great, and LGBT obviously didn't change her perspective on her work. One thing to know though, is that she gives homework as part of her counselling.... It helped but is adds to the amount of effort. 4/5 stars

I went in for a session with Diane after my divorce and never been to a councelor before. She kept me level headed, and helped me get things together. I apreciate what she has done and how much she understands the stuff i go through. My schedule is very hard but she is able to get me in to see her on short notice. Her homework keeps the sessions going after we meet

My wife and I saw Dianne for marriage counseling a couple of years ago. We have been married for 19 years and have two children but had some marriage problems we had to work out. Dianne listened to us for half an hour and said that she didn't think the relationship would work and we should just end it. We were shocked. There was no abuse involved, just relationship issues so why would someone say that? We found another counselor that helped us and today we are doing great. So if you are looking to end your marriage then by all means visit Dianne, if you want to stay together I suggest finding a therapist that wants to help people.
