Worst experience I have ever had with an importer. I had shipping and freight price paid in full and then Gillship "magically" came up with 2 "handeling fees" from the Shanghai port... which had already been paid. They charged 349.67 for fees that were already paid, that I had receipts for. They were unresponsive, didn't answer their phones. When trying to contact, their voicemail was full. I went directly to the location they said I should contact the original shipper. I did and presented the receipt. Gillship didn't do anything and they were charging for their imaginary of country expenses. I cannot rate this business lower.

DO NOT USE THEM! END OF THE STORY! They will sent you email notify you to do the payment. Once you are done, they will process the release order after 2 days! I tried to contact their customer service and guess what? They DO NOT have one. The voicemail is full and I think they did it on purpose. Anyways, if you somehow googled this company up, do not waste your time.
The Gillship team did a great job with my recent cargo import. I worked mostly with Julia who was very responsive and answered all my questions. Thank you!
Morons run this company. Customer service is nonexistent, rude and unprofessional. I'll never use the company ever again and I hope you dont.
throughout the process, we found their service anything but pleasant.our export shipping agent appointed Gillship as our local agent. 1. very poor manner, no matter emails, or phone calls, don't expect any salutation. when I talked to the associate, she always sounded like she was too busy to answer my phone. the employee really need education about courtecy. 2. through the whole process we felt like being in a black box, there was no clear instruction about the procedure, and the document we should prepare. most of the emails we received are pushing us to make payment. we had to call them several time to squeeze out the answers we need. even when I expressed my opinion to the employee,"why don't you provide some standard instruction to customers" , she said it is impossible for us to do that. it hard to imagine the existance of such a service in the competitive mordern business world.

I talked to a woman named Shonna and she did not want to give me any info regarding the cargo that I need to send from Vancouver, Canada to San Antonio, Chile. Maybe this company has too very many customers that obviously don't need new customers. Quality of company service, horrible.
